Italy, Brusciano by Naples, at the end of the 2018 Municipal Elections, in July, in compliance with the law and the popular will there were two distinct proclamations: before, for the newly elected Mayor, the lawyer Giuseppe Montanile; then for the elected Municipal Councilors. Both ceremonies were held in the Council Chamber of Brusciano, presided over by the Magistrate, Dr. Giuseppe Sepe, supported by the members of the Electoral Commission of the Central Office. In the first case on the 3rd and in the second on the 10th of this month of July, both followed from the large public of citizens, voters, friends and family of the elected municipal councilors.
Finally, on the evening of Friday, July 20, the Bruscianese people and the mass media have learned, through social media and a press release, even the names of the members of the City Council chosen by the Mayor.
Adv. Peppe Montanile,as President of the executive body of the local government, the Giunta has assigned to each assessor responsibility for a specific aspect of municipal affairs and the supervision of corresponding branch of local government: the 46-year-old Adv. Vincenzo Salvati, as already mentioned few days before, he was appointed Deputy Mayor with responsibility on Heritage and Human Resouces; to the Architect and local public administration official, Lucia Casalvieri, the Department for Public Works and Urban Planning has been entrusted; to the publicist journalist, Giovanni Negri, graduated in Law, with a Master in dramaturgy and cinematography at the University “Federico II” in Naples, has been assigned the Department for Culture, Entertainment and Associations; the young Engineer, Giuseppe Cinque, has been delegated to the Department of Environment, Technological Innovation and Information Systems; to the very young Tonia Marinelli, 25 year old, graduate in Motor Sciences, has been assigned by the Mayor the Department to the Social, Sports and School Policies.
The Mayor, Advocate Montanile, expressed himself on the composition of his executive: "Here is my young and competent committee that will best represent our desire to revolutionize some strategic sectors of the administrative machine. I have held for me some important delegations, such as the Security that includes the control of the territory, in order to ensure constant monitoring of the city. I am sure - concluded the Mayor - that together, through the indispensable teamwork with all the members of the coalition of the Perbene Politics, we will succeed in working to realize the electoral program that has brought us to the city government ".
In these days best wishes have also come from the USA to the newly elected Mayor Peppe Montanile, through Phil Bruno of New York, descendant of the Vivolo and D'Amore, a Bruscienese families who brought, right in America, the tradition of the “Giglio Dance” in Honour of Saint'Anthony of Padua, and the sociologist Antonio Castaldo spokesperson for GSEH, who for 15 years has been dealing with the Giglio Society EHNY starting from the documentary produced for his research on visual anthropology in 2003 on "Giglio Dance" in New York:from the "Bruscianese" side in East Harlem dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua;from the "Nolano" side in Williamsburg dedicated to San Paolino. Regarding the activities started by the new Municipal Administration, among the various open yards, the organization of the Festa dei Gigli is being addressed, this year in its 143rd edition in Honor of Saint Anthony of Padua 1875-2018.
The meetings, held until Fryday 20 July in the Municipal House, have found the utmost collaboration and sharing of the experts, between the representatives of the Lilies and the Municipal Administration who is facing the tight deadlines to find funding and organize the big event on august, and have produced this result:
