Some communication agencies interested in the Openartawards, for various reasons, have asked us for the possibility of participating in the award even after the deadline of 31 January.
We "granted" this opportunity but, it seemed right that this "privilege" should be extended to all participants and therefore we decided to extend the registration deadline (for everyone) until midnight on Wednesday 15 February 2023.
However, the registrations for the 9th edition of the OPENARTAWARD international advertising award are proceeding at a very rapid pace, the award dedicated to all the graphic, advertising and communication agencies that carried out promotional projects between January 2020 and January 2023. The award categories envisaged are as many as 10: logos, outdoor, direct marketing, print, packaging, multimedia, video and radio, no profit, , integrated marketing.
Other categories may be added, based on the types of works that will be entered in the competition. There are also special categories set up by eventual partners of the event.
Participation in the prize is absolutely free and registrations will close "mandatory" at midnight on February 15th.
In the last edition, with its 1098 registered artworks, Openartaward was the advertising award with the highest number of participations in Italy. Furthermore, thanks to the sponsorships obtained over the years (Presidency of the Council, Ministry of Economic Development, European Commission, Medal of the President of the Republic, Municipality of Naples, Campania Region, Chamber of Commerce, Unicom, Assocom), it appears to be the only award of the sector to have an "institutional" value.
Among other things, the award continues over the years to have a successful growth trend in the number of participants, in the public, and in the media (interviews on local TV throughout the country, on the national TV, hundreds of articles in the newspapers and in sector magazines, thousands of articles in online publications).
The Openartaward jury (the only award in the sector to have this specificity) is made up of students of the graphic and advertising communication courses of our institute. Students thus have the incredible opportunity to observe, analyze and touch the work of great graphics professionals (as well as the honor and burden of evaluating it) and at the same time the professionals have the opportunity to test their own communication creativity on a sample attentive to the evolution of advertising communication trends: in this way a concrete bridge is created between the world of training and the world of work.
A large part of the event's success is linked precisely to its "didactic" formula (advertising agencies, believing in the spirit of the project, got involved by having their work evaluated by an "unusual" jury to say the least"), to the organization absolutely non-profit and, above all, to the "credibility" of the jury, free from any interest and therefore absolutely impartial!
The OPENARTAWARD award has been organized since 2012 without any profit (the participating agencies do not pay any registration fee)!
Sponsorships will be used exclusively to cover actual organizational expenses or to contribute to the organization of the event with services, people, means!
To date, the following companies have already decided to collaborate in the 2023 edition of OPENARTAWARD: THERAPOINT, FEDRIGONI, LA BUONA TAVOLA magazine, ARTISTIinVETRINA. On the other hand, the following have already granted patronage: the Campania Region, the Municipality of Naples, UNA united communication companies, NapoliFilmFestival. We are waiting for the confirmation of the sponsorships of: European Commission, Ministry of Economic Development, Presidency of the Council, Chamber of Commerce.
